Tage Larsen<\/strong>\u00a0was born in 1949 in Randers, Denmark. He started at\u00a0Odin Teatret in 1971 as a “helping hand’ and soon was accepted as an actor. Tired of travelling theatre life, he took a break in 1974, but returned to the theatre a year later. He remained with Odin Teatret until 1987 when he started his own group, Yorick Teatret. In the ten years away from Odin Teatret, Tage also taught at the Nordisk Teater Skole in Aarhus and worked as a freelance actor with Teater La Balance and Cantabile 2. In 1997 he returned to Odin Teatret to be part of the performance\u00a0Mythos. He\u00a0still\u00a0acts and directs performances outside Odin Teatret and\u00a0gives workshops for actors all over the world. He has regularly created and directed the main local performance during Holstebro Festuge (Festive Week) and has directed\u00a0Madame Bovary-Downtown<\/em>\u00a0with Anna Lica, Yorick (Denmark);\u00a0Ali og den forunderlige \u00c5nd<\/em>\u00a0with emigrants and refugees (Denmark);\u00a0The Starry Messenger<\/em>\u00a0with\u00a0Donald Kitt\u00a0<\/a>(Canada);\u00a0Lady Swettenham<\/em>,\u00a0Othello\u00a0and Puteri Saadong<\/em>\u00a0with Sabera Shaik of\u00a0Masakini Theatre Company<\/a>\u00a0(Malaysia);\u00a0Sancho Panza e non Chisciotte<\/em>\u00a0with\u00a0Mario Barzaghi<\/a>\u00a0of Teatro Dell’Albero (Italy);\u00a0Bim, Bum, Bang<\/em>\u00a0with Elena Vanni\u00a0(Italy);\u00a0Figaro<\/em>\u00a0with Federico Vivaldi (Italy).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
