In the beginning of the film, we see a grandfather, Manzo Nomura, a famous Japanese kyogen actor, teaching his three-year-old grandson Kosuke. We observe how much energy the teacher uses to convey a role to a young pupil. Then an extract of Ludmilla Pavlovna Sakharova teaching classical ballet in 1983, in the Soviet Unionreveals the rigour and dedication of the teacher and highlights the pupil’s stoicism and perseverance. It is impossible not to react to the deep emotional bond that emerges from the process of transfusion of the old teacher’s energy into the young student’s body. All’inizio del film vediamo un nonno, Manzo Nomura, un famoso attore kyogen giapponese, che insegna a suo nipote di tre anni Kosuke. Osserviamo quanta energia usa l’insegnante per trasmettere un ruolo a un giovane studente. Poi un frammento di Ludmilla Pavlovna Sakharova che insegna danza classica nel 1983, in Unione Sovietica, rivela il rigore e la dedizione dell’insegnante, ed evidenzia lo stoicismo e la perseveranza dell’allievo. Impossibile non reagire al profondo legame affettivo che emerge dal processo di trasfusione di energia dal vecchio maestro al corpo del giovane allievo.
