FESTIVAL MORE THAN THEATRE.<\/strong> ODIN TEATRET 60 YEARS<\/strong>
Performances, films, seminars, workshops<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The festival More Than Theatre<\/a> is a\u00a0celebration of the 60th<\/sup> Anniversary of Odin Teatret organised in\u00a0Warsaw (Poland) \u2013 a\u00a0city, where Eugenio Barba started his theatre education. The festival is an occasion to\u00a0become personally acquainted with the history and the practice of one of the most experienced theatre groups in\u00a0Europe, during meetings and workshops led by\u00a0Odin Teatret\u2019s director and actors. It will be\u00a0also a\u00a0chance to\u00a0see the latest premiere of the group \u2013 Hamlet\u2019s Clouds<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme of practical workshops and reflective seminars covers the most important issues in the work of the group, among others: actor\/dancer\u2019s training and dramaturgy, theatre anthropology, social engagement of the theatre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participation fee: 350 Euro<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fee covers: workshops, seminars, work presentation, family performance. Each participant is also guaranteed entry to one performance of HAMLET\u2019S CLOUDS. The organizers are offering to help find accommodation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deadline for applying: 27th<\/sup> of July
Latest confirmation will be given: 4th<\/sup> of August
Deadline for payment: 24th<\/sup> of August

The participants are required to arrive at The Mazovia Institute of Culture (Elektoralna Street, Warsaw) no later than 9.30 am on 2nd<\/sup> October and leave no earlier than 2.30 pm on 5th<\/sup> October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The festival More Than Theatre is organised by Odin Teatret, The Mazovia Institute of Culture, the Institute of Polish Culture (Warsaw University) and is supported by the Ministry of Culture of Poland. It will take place at The Mazovia Institute of Culture in the centre of Warsaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The festival is also a chance to explore Warsaw, a capital city of Poland and of the Masovian Voivodeship. It is a very diverse and dynamic metropolis, where historical buildings sit side by side with modern architecture and green areas. Warsaw, located on the two banks of the Vistula River, is also well known as an important cultural centre, with wide range of museums, art galleries and theatres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
